Senior Advisor for Climate Change Adaptation (Consultant), Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department

Charles’ training and professional experience combine civil engineering and economics applied to agriculture and food security, water resources development, and global climate change. Prior to his current assignment, he was a Senior Environment Specialist and coordinated ADB’s climate change adaptation program. Before joining ADB, Charles worked for the Stockholm Environment Institute, the International Food Policy Research Institute, the Center for Development Research at Bonn University, the Economic Research Service of the US Department of Agriculture, and as a consultant on a wide range of international projects emphasizing climate change, water resources and irrigated agricultural production.
