It’s time to diversify its economy to transition to upper-middle-income status.

Cambodia has reported stellar economic performance over the past few years, with annual GDP growth averaging 7%.

But its labor-intensive growth model may not be viable for much longer. 

In Cambodia for the World Economic Forum on ASEAN, ADB Vice-President Stephen Groff says the country needs to consider ways to diversify its economy to transition to upper-middle-income status.
