Better information and a willingness to tackle difficult issues are necessary to ensure a fit-for-purpose and accountable health system in Papua New Guinea.
Alan’s work is at the intersection of human behaviour, finance and improving government services. He consults and conducts research internationally, mainly in the Asia-Pacific region, working with organisations including the Asian Development Bank and World Bank to promote insight and a better understanding of complex systems.
Based in New Zealand, Alan obtained a Bachelor degree in finance and accounting, a Master in public policy and management at the University of London, and is professionally qualified as a chartered accountant.
