By some estimates, the digital economy now accounts for trillions of dollars. But policymakers and companies still lack the data needed to fully understand it.
Angelo works on the analysis of global value chains, foreign direct investments, and the digital economy. He is a doctoral candidate of Economics at the University of the Philippines - Diliman, where he also obtained his Master of Arts in the same field. His research experience includes econometric analyses of macroeconomic indicators (e.g., unemployment, inflation, and tax evasion) as well as socioeconomic surveys of coastal communities in Southeast Asia.
