Anupma Jain is an urban planner and social policy specialist. She leads design and implementation project teams in integrated city planning, urban resilience and water supply, sanitation and hygiene. She has worked extensively on gender and health issues. She strives to ensure cities capture the relationships people have with urban space and investments in infrastructure and services support these relationships by improving people's quality of life and well-being. Ms. Jain has worked in Asia and the Pacific for more than 15 years and holds a PhD in social policy and a MSc in cities from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
