Prior to her stint at ADB, Anu served at the UN Development Program’s Practice Leader on Inclusive Growth and Poverty Reduction in Asia Pacific, and led the regional Human Development Report series.

At present, businesses main focus is annual balance sheets; for development organizations it is annual results reporting; and for democracies there's cyclical elections.
