Ayumi Konishi

Former Director General, East Asia Department, ADB

Mr. Konishi joined ADB in 1988 and served in various capacities, including as Director General for the East Asia Regional Department, Deputy Director General for the Pacific, Senior Advisor to the Strategy Policy Department, and Country Director for Viet Nam. Prior to ADB, he worked for the UN in Baghdad, Iraq, New York, and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
