He previously worked with OECD, where he promoted a “whole of government” approach to tax crime and other financial crime, improving cooperation between tax administrations and anti-money laundering authorities and law enforcement and worked on international policies on exchange of information and harmful tax practices. His career of 30 years in the UK tax administration and Treasury included international tax policy, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of tax systems through organization and process redesign, the application of quality systems and the use of information technology.
