Christine P. Chan

Christine leads the origination, structuring and execution of sustainable infrastructure investments within ADB’s Private Sector Operations Department, Infrastructure Finance 2 Division. She led ADB’s first private sector financing for an eco-industrial park waste-to-energy project in support of the PRC’s circular economy and jointly co-led ADB’s first private sector solar financing in Mongolia. Previously in ADB’s Guarantees and Syndications Unit, Christine structured and mobilized commercial co-financing into ADB’ private sector infrastructure, financial sector, and agribusiness projects in Central, South, and East Asia. Christine contributed to the development of the Southeast Asian bond market through the origination, structuring, and issuance of inaugural local currency bond guarantees across ASEAN, at ADB’s trust fund, the Credit Guarantee and Investment Facility.
