Christopher Thieme

Christopher Thieme has overseen ADB’s work on private sector infrastructure investments focused on power projects (solar, wind, energy efficiency, waste-to-energy, geo-thermal and conventional energy) as well as other infrastructure (water, airports, ports, internet connectivity, education, and health). Investments cover equity, loans, insurance and technical assistance, with notable innovations in local currency products and project bonds. Prior to joining ADB in 2010, Mr. Thieme was a Managing Director at BNP Paribas in Singapore.
