Danny Kennedy directs CALCef’s investments as well as the organization's work to forge policies and businesses that drive growth and innovation in clean energy. In 2007 he co-founded Sungevity and has been its strategic advisor since 2015. Danny is a social entrepreneur, environmental activist, and author of the book Rooftop Revolution: How Solar Power Can Save Our Economy – and the Planet – From Dirty Energy. He is also Co-Founder and President of the SfunCube accelerator. Danny was named in 2011 Innovator of the Year by PBS for providing an innovative, high-impact and commercially viable solution to the world's environmental challenges.
