Karl has more than 20 years of experience working on water resources management; water supply, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH); solid waste and wastewater management; and environmental and engineering geological assessments. Most recently he was with the World Bank Group Water Practice in East Asia and the Pacific, managing several technical assistance and investment programs on urban and rural water and sanitation projects. Prior to World Bank, he has provided technical advisory services on development programs and poverty alleviation projects implemented by multilateral and bilateral agencies. Karl loves playing music and doing outdoor sports on his free time.
