Eisuke has over 20 years of experience in reforms and transformation of secondary education, technical and vocational education and training and higher education in Asia. He led policy dialogue, ADB-financed education sector projects and technical assistance in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Mongolia, Nepal, and the People’s Republic of China. Before joining ADB in 2008, he worked for UNESCO Hanoi Office in Viet Nam, and UNESCO Headquarters (Basic Education Department, Education Sector). He has publications from his work in ADB and UNESCO including “Technical and Vocational Education and Training Financing in the Peoples’ Republic of China” and “The Transition of Ethnic Minority Girls from Primary to Secondary Education” in Viet Nam.
