Grant has been ADBI's legal advisor for most of the Institute's existence except for a mid-career sabbatical at the Geneva Institute of International and Development Studies. He has worked as a Wall Street lawyer and for the UN and OECD. He is admitted to the bars of New York and Australia and is also Adjunct Professor of Public International Law and Trade Law at Temple University Japan. Grant’s books include Regional Cooperation and Culture in Asia-Pacific for the UN University and NGO Law and Governance. He was also the officer in charge of the original Developing Asia Journalism Awards.
