Former Director General, South Asia Department

Mr. Kim oversees ADB operations and support for regional cooperation in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. He joined ADB in 1991, and has since occupied progressively responsible positions, including Advisor to the Vice-President, Director for Urban Development in South Asia, and Country Director in India. Prior to joining ADB, Mr. Kim worked on research and finance in the Republic of Korea and the US.
