Jesper Pedersen supports the implementation of ADB’s procurement policies and procurement capacity development strategies. ADB’s new procurement framework introduced in 2017 supports the implementation of Strategy 2030 with an emphasis on value for money, innovation and high-level technology. Currently, he is coordinating ADB’s procurement response to COVID-19 to meet the urgent demand for medical supplies.
