Kaukab’s main research interests include economic growth, economic modeling, international trade, demand management policies and budget deficits. Prior to joining ADB, he held senior positions in the Government of Pakistan and served as Chief of the Macroeconomic Section in Pakistan’s Planning Commission. Kaukab was also an economist with UNDP.
