The RISE Research Programme is a global research endeavour that seeks to understand how education systems in developing countries can overcome the learning crisis. She was previously a senior education specialist in the Asian Development Bank. She has also worked as Head of Education Policy and Head of Evidence into Action in the UK Department for International Development as well as holding roles in academia and civil society.
