If the tourism industry becomes truly sustainable, Georgian youth will have a reason to stay in their regions, or even return to them from Tbilisi.
Lee advocates for youth's valuable role in contributing to development across Asia, and is particularly interested in inclusive urban development and sustainable transport. He has designed and implemented youth-focused and youth-led activities in projects in these sectors in countries such as Mongolia, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Georgia and the Philippines. Before joining Youth for Asia, Lee worked on community-based development projects for international NGOs in the UK, Lao PDR, Viet Nam, Romania, and Kenya.
