Marina is responsible for NGO and Civil Society Relations at ADB and specializes in local and community-based development. Prior to ADB, she served as Associate Vice President of Sector Operations at the Millennium Challenge Corporation and Senior Policy Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for International Finance and Development at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Marina began her career in development as an International Economist at the U.S. Department of the Treasury where she focused on issues related to agriculture, climate finance, refugees, and women’s economic empowerment. She has extensive experience across the Multilateral Development Banks and Asia Pacific. A Chicago native, she holds a Master of International Relations and Political Economy from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University.
