Maya is an economist with more than 20 years of experience in research and evaluation. She evaluates policies, strategies, and operations at the thematic, country, and sector levels. Maya joined ADB in 2013 after spending most of her career with the US federal government. In her last role at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, she led impact and economic evaluations of international health programs. Previously, Maya was an econometrician with the World Bank Group in Washington.
