Md Shamsul Arifeen Khan Mamun is an education economist by training. He works to develop education sector in the South Asian countries. Prior to joining ADB, he served as an academia in a higher education. Immediately before that he worked as a consultant at the World Bank. He holds a doctoral degree in Economics of Education and Administration. His undergraduate degree is in Economics.
