Micaela is an independent consultant at the Asian Development Bank, where she leads strategic communications for a technical assistance project focused on strengthening women's resilience to heat stress. She holds an MSc in Gender, Development, and Globalisation from the London School of Economics, where she pursued her studies as a Chevening Scholar. During this time, her research centered on the role of women in sustainability, making significant contributions to the field. Micaela has extensive experience working with public and private sectors, NGOs, and international organizations, fostering effective cross-sector collaborations. Previously, she spearheaded communications at Plastic Credit Exchange and GenerationHOPE, Inc., where she integrated sustainable development with gender equality.
