Naeeda designs climate finance instruments in Southeast Asia as part of ADB’s Southeast Asia Green Finance Hub. She helped set up the ASEAN Catalytic Green Finance Facility, and raised over $500 million in concessional funds for its Green Recovery Platform. Naeeda manages project origination in the Green Finance Hub, and most recently co-lead ADB’s first climate change focused policy loan in the Philippines and a major ADB investment to boost the climate resilience of Cambodia’s marine fisheries sector.

Previously, Naeeda led green investment and development work at the OECD Development Co-operation Directorate in Paris, leading several flagship OECD reports on climate and blended finance, and worked on emissions-reductions strategies for transport and other infrastructure in Southeast Asia and in the UK. Naeeda has a Masters in Environmental Sustainability (with Distinction) from the University of Edinburgh.
