Boosting fuel efficiency to cut motorcycle pollution in Viet Nam
A package of comprehensive measures—inlcuding setting fuel efficiency standards—is the only way to significantly reduce CO2 emissions from motorcycles in the country's 5 main cities.

Nguyen supervises the Energy Efficiency and Climate Change Mitigation in the Land Transport Sector in ASEAN in Viet Nam, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and implemented by GIZ in cooperation with the ASEAN Secretariat. He works closely with Viet Nam’s Ministry of Transport. Nguyen’s responsibilities are delivering technical assistance to the counterpart and coordinating project activities.
