Omana has over 20 years of experience in journalism, public relations, corporate communications, and development communications. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of ADB’s work on corporate communications, media relations, publishing, information disclosure, branding, web, multi and social media strategies. Prior to assuming her current position, she was Head of ADB's Strategic Communications and Media Relations Unit. Before joining ADB, Ms. Nair was Regional Senior Manager for BASF and Head of Communications for the Kuala Lumpur City Center project. She also worked for the Malaysian national oil company PETRONAS.
