Mia works on development policy research using microdata. Prior to joining ADB, she was a policy consultant for the Health Policy and Development Program (HPDP), where she provided technical support for tuberculosis programs in the Philippines. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of the Philippines.
