Under the ADB Youth for Asia initiative, Shruti's focus lies on projects in the water and urban sectors. She is also a member of the Asia-Pacific Youth and Sport Task Force led by UNESCO and has a passion for sport for development, and is currently working on a project to leverage sport as a tool for socio-economic development and youth empowerment in Afghanistan. Shruti also leads a youth led ICT safety audit for Vietnam’s Metro Line project and has interest in the unique role that youth play in driving social accountability through innovative ICT mechanisms. Prior to her current role, she worked for The Akanksha Foundation in Mumbai.
