Silvia supports the design of technical assistance and investment projects for integrated water and natural resources management in the People’s Republic of China and Mongolia. She also works on knowledge management and is one of the authors of the Asian Water Development Outlook 2020. Prior to joining ADB, she was a research assistant at the University of Oxford, a UNDESA Fellow and a Programme Officer for the Italian Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Addis Ababa. She has supervised water and sanitation multi-donor programs in partnership with the Ethiopian government, co-financed by the European Investment Bank and AFD. She also runs a digital platform to facilitate open access science communication on a broad range of topics at the intersection of water, nature and society.
