Simone’s primary research interests at Dartmouth, an affiliate of the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development and of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab, include household decision-making, financial access and innovation for the unbanked, household health-seeking behavior, and international migration. She is currently conducting field research in India, Indonesia, Kenya, and Ghana. Prior to joining Dartmouth, Simone completed her PhD in economics at MIT.
