Sonalini is leading the Bank’s support to the National Urban Health Mission in India and Health Systems Development Programme in Bhutan. With 15 years of wide-ranging professional experience in different settings across international development institutions, including the World Bank and UNICEF, she is well-versed in addressing health sector challenges in health policy, health system strengthening, human resources for health, health financing and health insurance. She holds a Ph.D. in Health Economics & Policy, LSHTM, University of London. A graduate in engineering and economics from Cornell University, she received her masters degree from Columbia University. Sonalini has authored several research articles published across various international peer reviewed journals.
