Sonoko Hayashi

FabLab Shinagawa Director

With over 20 years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist, Sonoko Hayashi became the director of FabLab Shinagawa in April 2018. She delivers workshops focused on the use of digital fabrication tools, such as 3D printers, in care and rehabilitation settings. In April 2021, Hayashi began her doctoral studies at the Graduate School of Media and Governance at Keio University. She is also the author of "Easy even for beginners! Let's make assistive tools with a 3D printer" (Miwa Shoten, 2019) and "3D printing free data as it is: catalog of tools to meet your work/collection of examples" (Miwa Shoten, 2021).
