Swati has over 18 years of experience in financial services, MSME, Agri-banking and financial inclusion. Swati has been one of the earliest members of the South Asia team and leads business and partnership development for Women’s World Banking. A major part of this includes working with philanthropic organisations and donors, private and public sector corporations, as well as government agencies regulators and policy makers to design innovative programs and solutions to advance women’s financial inclusion.

Prior to joining Women’s World Banking, Swati worked with a leading private bank for a decade in various profiles across financial inclusion, product management, business relationship management and credit risk, working towards client retention, organic growth and improving the overall risk and profitability. Preceding her work with the bank, she was a part of the core team in setting up a capacity building organization for microfinance institutions promoted by two of Women’s World Banking’s network partners.
