Takashi has 33 years of career in international development, including 23 years services in ADB. After working for agriculture and rural development throughout his career, he recently moved to ADB's Japanese Representative Office where he serves as an interface of ADB to Japan in August 2016. His duties in Japan include promotion of public awareness about ADB and the Asia-Pacific region, mobilization of resources from official and private sectors, and coordinate with the government agencies, civil society organizations and others.
