Migration in the Asia-Pacific region is diverse and enduring. It cannot be handled by one country alone. Regional cooperation is needed.
Wendy Walker provides technical leadership in social development and social protection and facilitates collaboration across sector and technical groups in ADB and with external partners. Wendy has been co-leading ADB’s strategic operational priority on Addressing Remaining Poverty and Inequality and is a focal for the MDB working group on economic migration and forced displacement. She has over 25 years of experience in countries in Asia and Africa on developing and evaluating social protection and social development programs and policies.
