Wonhee conducts economic research focusing on tourism in developing Asia. Her assignments involve the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to joining ADB as a consultant, she was a Research Assistant of Angelo King Institute at De La Salle University, where she co-authored the quarterly and annual Philippine Economic Monitor reports. She also previously worked with the Central Bank of the Philippines on a research project.
