Maleeha is currently working as an Operations Analyst at the Economic Unit at ADB’s Pakistan Resident Mission. Since joining ADB PRM in February 2021, she has contributed to ADB’s flagship publication, the Asian Development Outlook 2021, and a few other knowledge products. Maleeha has experience working in the corporate sector, the development sector, as well as academia. She started her professional career as a Global Management Trainee at AkzoNobel. Later, she joined the U.S. Embassy Islamabad as an American Spaces Manager, and taught graduate and undergraduate level courses in the discipline of Economics at various universities in Islamabad. Her research interests include macroeconomic issues, particularly international trade and finance. She lives in Islamabad with her spouse and a beautiful 3-year-old daughter.
