Len George

Len is a Principal Energy Specialist at ADB. He has over 20 years of experience in the energy sector and has led renewable energy, transmission and distribution projects in South Asia and the Pacific at ADB. Prior to that, he worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers on themes including energy markets, regulation and performance improvement in South Asia and the United States. Len has a degree in electrical engineering from Delhi University and a post graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management.

Naoki Sakai

Naoki Sakai is the CEO of D-Sharing Inc., a pioneering climate-tech startup in Japan, and also serves as the CEO of the Nudge Promotion Council. With an MBA from the University of Chicago in 1998 and a BA in Economics from the University of Tokyo in 1987, Naoki has cultivated a wealth of knowledge and expertise. His illustrious career includes senior roles as an Energy and Climate Change Specialist at the Asian Development Bank from 2000 to 2017, as well as earlier experience as an Energy Specialist at Tokyo Electric Power Co from 1987 to 2000.

Halimah Binti Awang

Dr. Halimah Awang holds a PhD in Applied Statistics from Macquarie University, Australia. Her research interests include social protection, ageing, education, and sexual and reproductive health. Her ongoing research projects include understanding ageing and retirement, savings adequacy among EPF members, social protection programs in the ASEAN region, and Return to Work Programme for injured workers.

Norma Mansor

Dr. Norma Mansor has been the Director of the Social Wellbeing Research Centre (SWRC), Universiti  Malaya, since 2013. She was appointed the Secretary of the National Economic Advisory Council, Prime Minister’s Department (2009 to 2011) after being the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administration from April 2004 to June 2009. She was also the Executive Director of the International Institute of Public Policy and Management (INPUMA) from September 2001 until March 2004.

Eriko Tominaga

Eriko Tominaga works in ADB’s Procurement, Portfolio, and Financial Management Department (PPFD). Prior to ADB, she was a financial management professional at the World Bank. She has a master’s degree in Public Policy & Management from the University of London, and a bachelor’s degree from Sophia University, Tokyo.

Julitta Ponniah

Julitta Ponniah has over 20 years of experience in public financial management. Prior to ADB, she worked in NSW Treasury, Australia, and in the World Bank, in South and Central Asia regions. She is a chartered professional accountant with ACCA (UK), CPA Australia, and CIMA (UK), and holds a M.Sc. in Information Technology from Keele University (UK).

Zhenyu Gao

Zhenyu Gao is an Associate Professor of Department of Finance at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School. He joined CUHK in 2014. His primary research interests are in asset pricing, behavioral finance, real estate finance, and Chinese economy. He received his PhD in Economics from Princeton University.
