Lan Le is an environmental economist working on agricultural, environmental, and natural resources management projects in East Asia countries. Her experience and skillset cut across different economic tools and methodologies to solve environment and natural resources management related issues. Prior to joining ADB, she was a graduate research assistant at the University of Western Australia, and an agricultural economist at the Alliance Bioversity International – CIAT (one of the CGIAR centers), where she has worked on groundwater management, ecosystems conservation, and climate change adaptation and mitigation projects across Australia, Asian, African, and Latin American countries. She holds a Ph.D. in agricultural and environmental economics at the University of Western Australia.
