Andrea Cinque

Andrea Cinque is an economist at the OECD Development Centre. He works on diverse areas related to fostering higher productivity, inclusiveness, well-being, and better institutions in Africa. He has also extensively worked on climate migration and development across different regions. He obtained his PhD in economics at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and University of Hannover.

Lennart Reiners

Lennart joined ADB in 2023 as part of the Young Professional Program after working for the German development bank KfW and the International Finance Corporation. He is an applied economist with research interests in social protection and migration. He recently completed his Ph.D. at the University of Göttingen.

Daniel Suryadarma

Daniel conducts applied economics research on human development, poverty, and social policy in low- and middle-income countries. He implements policy trials and analyses with government and non-government partners across Asia and the Pacific.

Minhaj Mahmud

Minhaj’s research areas include behavioral economics, health economics and development economics, with a focus on field experiments and impact evaluation in health, education, labor, gender, welfare, and climate change issues. He works in the teams supporting economic analysis of health and social sector projects as well as impact evaluation of ADB projects.

Brent Edelman

Brent Edelman is an independent consultant whose most recent work includes advising the US Agency for International Development (USAID) on its activities and strategies in the Pacific Islands Region, the Philippines, and Mongolia. Before that, Brent served as the economic growth advisor at USAID/Georgia and USAID/Sri Lanka & Maldives, with his work focused on designing and managing economic competitiveness activities.
