Marina Best

Marina is responsible for NGO and Civil Society Relations at ADB and specializes in local and community-based development.  Prior to ADB, she served as Associate Vice President of Sector Operations at the Millennium Challenge Corporation and Senior Policy Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for International Finance and Development at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.  Marina began her career in development as an International Economist at the U.S.

Olivier De Schutter

Mr. De Schutter is Professor of Law at the University of Louvain (UCL) and at the College of Europe (Natolin). He holds a LL.M. from Harvard University, a diploma cum laude from the International Institute of Human Rights (Strasbourg) and a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Louvain. He has been lecturer in law at the University of Leicester (UK) and has been teaching European Union law, international and european human rights law and legal theory at numerous universities in New York, France, Finland, Portugal, Benin and Puerto Rico. Ayako Inagaki

Ayako Inagaki leads the planning, implementation, and supervision of ADB's lending and non-lending operations in the social sectors, that includes education and skills development, health, and social protection. Ms. Inagaki is also the Chair of ADB's Health Sector Group where she guides the preparation and implementation of the health sector group work plan.

Samuel Tumiwa

Mr. Tumiwa, has over 30 years of professional experience in international development and strategic partnerships, including 20 years in ADB. He joined ADB in 2001 as Renewable Energy Specialist and has since worked under various divisions, most notably developing ADB’s clean energy program and serving as Afghanistan Resident Mission Country Director from 2017-2019. He is currently Advisor and Chief of Fragile and Conflict-Affected Situations in SDCC. He holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Ohio University.
