Ritu Mishra joined ADB in 2018. She actively contributes to the strategic and operational support of transportation achieving the goals of climate finance. She is engaged in promoting sustainable transportation, transport infrastructure asset management, and road safety. She obtained her MSc. in Transport Planning and Engineering from University of Leeds, and MSc. in Sustainable Development from University of Sussex, UK.

Soames has over 40 years of experience in road safety, including successfully heading government lead organisations in road safety, providing road safety guidance to governments and leaders in over 100 countries and states, being a Professor in Road Safety, and consulted for many MDBs, the UN, the World Health Organization, ISO, and the OECD. Experience in Road Safety includes: Global Lead for Road Safety, World Bank; Head of the Global Road Safety Facility; Executive Director, National Road Safety Council of Australia; Executive Director, New South Wales Centre for Road Safety.

Nirojan Donald Sinclair

Donald Sinclair works at ADB’s Sri Lanka Resident Mission where he manages projects and activities for the urban and water sector and for transport. He is a civil engineer and obtained his MBA from the University of Colombo. He also has postgraduate diplomas in Development Studies and Project Management. Prior to joining ADB, he worked for the United Nations Office for Project Services and was involved in post-tsunami (2004) and post-conflict (2009) humanitarian and development projects in Sri Lanka.

Theuns Henning is also a founding member of the Climate Adaptation Platform, specialising in Asset Management, Performance Monitoring, Climate Adaptation, Performance-Based Contracts and Benchmarking. He holds a Master of Engineering (Transportation) from the University of Pretoria, South Africa and completed his PhD at the University of Auckland in 2009, where he was the recipient of the Foundation for Research and Technology Bright Future Scholarship.
